Richard A Hoska Rice Street Mile • July 26, 2012

The Rice Street Mile has been renamed in honor of Richard A Hoska, who passed away in 2010. Rick was a long time runner who rarely missed a St. Paul race, whether as a runner, volunteer or paid staff. The Rice Street Mile was one of his favorites and he will remain a part of this event. The Rice Street Mile is a featured part of the annual Rice Street Festival and each year leads the Rice Street Parade. This is a very fast one mile course and a great place to run a road mile. There are two heats - one for women and one for men. The event offers a technical short sleeve shirt, Championchip timing, and cash awards to overall winners.
